3月28日（五）上午，日本成城高校由村田裕老師率領師生約23人蒞臨本校參觀訪問。成城高校和本校歷來非常友好，2023年由於兩校對於追求卓越和國際視野的一致願景，雙方決定締結成為姐妹校。今年成城高校安排了二天的入校活動，期望透過更多的互動，深化兩校的交流。在第一天上午的歡迎會中，本校郭珍祥校長期勉兩校學生能互相砥礪前行，培養開闊的國際觀；成城高校的村田裕老師則談及了疫情後第一次來訪時，對本校的留下深刻而美好的印象。歡迎會中，成城高校同學以英文簡報的方式先介紹東京的賞櫻風情、成城高校的校園文化和一年一度的10公里校際馬拉松活動，帶來第一手的東京與成城資訊。接著，甫榮獲全國學生音樂比賽特優的絃樂四重奏歡迎來訪的貴賓，優雅的樂音令在場師生如痴如醉，而成城高校同學則是表演吉他，自彈自唱，帶動全場熱鬧活潑的氣氛。觀賞完精采表演，禮賓團開始進行校園導覽，讓日本同學在輕鬆的氣氛中認識本校校園。中午，本校特地安排成城同學享用竹中的學餐，體驗竹中生的午休生活後，下午成城學生與學伴一同參訪科學園區探索館。導覽人員展示與介紹最新的生物與醫療科技、互動螢幕、氫燃料機車以及︁晶圓等園區產品，在參訪中可見學生們對不同領域科技的熱情與好奇。
結束參訪後，兩校學生一同在學校的後山--十八尖山健行並賞花，學伴與接待學生在愜意漫步的途中，漸漸認識並交流彼此的跑山經驗，而成城學生也親身體驗新竹的自然環境，並在最高處俯視城市。
第二天，成城學生與竹中校隊以排球和足球的友誼賽作為班際球賽的開幕式，熱血的比拚點燃球賽的激昂氣氛，賽局結束後成城學生在宋美霖組長的帶領與教導下認識並體驗木球這項臺灣人發明的運動，度過歡樂且充實的早晨。（203沈翼、207吳宇軒整理）
On the morning of Friday, March 28, a group of 23 students and teachers from Seijo High School in Japan, led by teacher Yutaka Murata, visited our school. This marked the second visit since the establishment of the sister school relationship between Seijo High School and our school. Over the years, the two schools have maintained a close and friendly bond, with frequent exchanges before the pandemic. In 2023, motivated by a shared vision of excellence and international perspective, the principals of both schools officially the partnership, making Seijo High School our fourth sister school. This visit was thoughtfully organized and warmly hosted by members of our student ambassador club, who extended a heartfelt welcome to the visiting teachers and students from Japan.
During the welcome ceremony, Principal Guo Chen-Hsiang delivered a speech in fluent English, highlighting the deep friendship between the two schools and expressing her hope that both institutions would continue to inspire each other and nurture outstanding international talents. Mr. Yutaka Murata , representing Seijo High School in Tokyo, also delivered a speech in Japanese, extending his best wishes to all the teachers and students participating in the exchange activities.
During the event, the visiting students from Seijo High School delivered an English presentation introducing the cherry blossom season in Tokyo, the unique campus culture of Seijo High School, and their annual inter-school marathon. In response, members of our ambassadors Morning Light Team also delivered an English presentation, introducing the culture and cuisine of Hsinchu City, as well as the spirit and traditions of our school.
This was followed by wonderful performances from students of both schools, showcasing the cultural charm of each country. Hsinchu Senior High School students opened with a stunning honor guard performance, that received enthusiastic applause. A student from Seijo High School responded with a heartfelt performance, singing and playing a Japanese song on the guitar, creating a lively and engaging atmosphere filled with continuous applause.
Following the impressive performances, the ambassadors club led a guided campus tour. Through this visit, the Japanese students were able to explore and experience our school in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
In the afternoon, students visited the Hsinchu Science Park Exploration Hall. The guide introduced the innovative biotechnology and medical advancements, interactive screens, hydrogen-fuel scooter, wafer etc., which are made in the Science Park. Students showed passion and curiosity in different fields of technology.
After the visit, students hiked on the Eighteen-peak mountains and enjoyed the hanami, the traditional viewing of cherry blossoms. Despite the chilly weather, students and their buddies got to know each other better during the walk. They experienced the natural environment of Hsinchu and viewed the city from the top.
The next day, students participated in friendly matches of volleyball and soccer with students from the school teams. The energetic game aroused an enthusiastic atmosphere during the interclass ball tournament. After the games, students learned and played with the wood balls. They ended the morning with joy.
