1月8日，日本姐妹校——神奈川多摩高校（文部科學省櫻花計畫指定學校）野田麻由美校長率領由36名師生組成的訪問團蒞臨新竹高中，展開為期一天的文化與學術交流活動。這是兩校長期友好交流的一部分，雙方皆致力於藉由國際合作，深化學生的全球視野與多元文化學習。

上午10點，兩校師生齊聚新竹高中，參加國際交流歡迎式。歡迎儀式中安排了兩校學生的精采表演，展現了兩國的文化魅力。新竹高中學生首先帶來震撼的扯鈴表演與儀隊秀，精湛的技藝贏得滿堂喝采。而多摩高校的學生則回應以充滿節奏感的beatbox表演，以及帶有濃厚北海道愛奴族文化特色的傳統舞蹈，現場氣氛熱烈，掌聲不斷。
**特色課程連結台日城市文化**
下午的交流活動以實地課程為主，新竹高中特別規劃了「新竹公園SDG-11永續城鄉特色課程」，介紹新竹市如何透過城市設計提升宜居性，並與神奈川川崎市生田綠地公園的生態保護模式進行對比學習。兩校學生分組討論，彼此分享城市治理與環境保護的見解，加深了對可持續發展的認識。

結束特色課程後，訪問團深入新竹的文化與科學領域，參觀了新竹公園內的孔廟、玻璃工藝博物館、料亭與九曲橋，以及新竹動物園。多摩高校的學生對於新竹特有的文化歷史及工藝技術展現出濃厚興趣，透過導覽與互動，增進了對台灣傳統文化的了解。

On January 8, a delegation of 36 teachers and students from Kanagawa Tama High School, a designated school under Japan's Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology's Sakura Science Plan, visited Hsinchu High School for a one-day cultural and academic exchange. This event marks another milestone in the long-standing friendship between the two schools, both committed to deepening students' global perspectives and multicultural learning through international cooperation.
International Exchange Welcome Ceremony: Showcasing Cultural Diversity
At 10 a.m., teachers and students from both schools gathered at Hsinchu High School for the International Exchange Welcome Ceremony. The ceremony featured captivating performances by students from both sides, highlighting the cultural charm of Taiwan and Japan. Hsinchu High School students kicked off the event with an impressive diabolo performance and a precision marching band display, earning enthusiastic applause. In response, students from Kanagawa Tama High School delivered a rhythmic beatbox performance and a traditional dance showcasing the vibrant culture of the Ainu people from Hokkaido. The lively atmosphere and mutual appreciation brought the two communities closer together.
Specialized Courses Linking Urban Cultures of Taiwan and Japan
In the afternoon, the exchange activities centered around hands-on learning. Hsinchu High School curated a specialized course titled "Hsinchu Park and SDG-11: Sustainable Cities and Communities," highlighting how Hsinchu City enhances livability through urban design. The program also drew comparisons with the ecological conservation efforts of Ikuta Green Space in Kawasaki, Kanagawa. After the course, the visiting delegation delved into the cultural and scientific highlights of Hsinchu. In his speech, Hsinchu High School Principal Guo Chen-Hsiang expressed that the partnership with Kanagawa Tama High School, as a Sakura Science Plan designated institution, symbolizes not only the friendship between the two schools but also serves as a microcosm of cultural and educational exchanges between Taiwan and Japan. He looks forward to further deepening this collaboration for the mutual growth of students and faculty.
Principal Noda Mayumi of Kanagawa Tama High School extended heartfelt gratitude for the warm hospitality from Hsinchu High School, praising the students' performances that reflected their multicultural literacy and educational achievements.
